Admission to Claremont Middle School is determined by the Oakland Unified School District’s Student Assignment Center, which manages student assignments for all Oakland public schools. There are two ways to apply for admission to Claremont:
Admission for the next school year
Most of our students gain admission through the OUSD Options Process, which allows Oakland residents to apply for admission to any school in the district at the appropriate grade level for the following school year. The enrollment window for the next school year opens in December.
